SUMMARY:NFCC Incident Command Conference
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to confirm that we will be holding an NFCC Incident Command Conference on 3rd and 4th September at Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire\, nr Kenilworth. \nThe event is open to all who have an interest in the areas of Incident Command covered on the programme.  The conference will begin with registration\, lunch and networking from 11.30 am on 3rd with conference sessions starting at 1pm.  There will be a networking dinner on the evening of 3rd with the conference concluding with lunch on 4th. \nConference Agenda \nThe full programme programme can be viewed here (subject to change). Below is an overview of what will be covered over the two days. \n\nOverview of National Operational Learning – specific to Incident Command related learning and trends.\nOperational Discretion – progress on the national work commissioned from the Manchester Arena Inquiry recommendation.\nOverview of the data compiled from training\, assessment and operational assurance which indicates where our gaps may be as a sector.\nHuman factors and an overview of the academic work in this area looking at how human factors can impact decision making.\nCase study on the high-rise fire in Milan.\nKey note speaker on Command Leadership.\nA panel session on “Changing Risk Environment”\nJESIP position including national funding and links to MAI recommendations.\n\nSponsors and Exhibitors \nInformation on sponsorship and exhibiting at the event is available here. DESCRIPTION:NFCC Menopause in Fire Conference \n11th September 2024 \nThe Innside by Melia Hotel\, Liverpool \nAfter a hugely successful first event last year\, we are excited to announce that the Menopause in Fire Conference is making a return this year! \nThe conference will take place on Wednesday September 11\, 2024 with an optional networking dinner the evening before at the hotel. \nThe conference is being held this year in Liverpool and we have already secured Dr Rebecca Lewis from Newson Health to present again. The conference is aimed at individuals going through menopause or perimenopause and anyone wanting to understand more about how menopause may impact them and what they can do to look after themselves when they start experiencing symptoms. The focus of the conference is on self-care and support during menopause with topics such as fitness\, nutrition and relationships. \nHere’s some snippets of what last year’s delegates thought: \n“Excellent conference overall\, so much valuable resource and information\, I can’t thank you enough for putting it together.” \n“Excellent conference and fantastic speakers.
