SUMMARY:Fire Conference 2025
DESCRIPTION:The annual FIRE Conference returns on Thursday 13 November at the QEII Conference Centre in London\, once again offering both in-person and online attendance to ensure the broadest engagement possible across the sector. \nDelivered by the Institution of Fire Engineers\, Fire Protection Association\, National Fire Chiefs Council and the Fire Sector Confederation\, this one-day conference brings together key voices from the UK and international fire community. Through a programme of plenary sessions\, breakout discussions and expert panels\, this year will concentrate on ensuring the built environment is fit for tomorrow.  \nFIRE Conference 2025 will include an early look at the UK’s new administration and what it means for fire safety policy and the construction of homes; planned changes to Approved Document B and the Building Safety Regulator’s updates; and rural and urban wildfire resilience\, with an international panel exploring the latest global responses to this growing threat. Delegates will also hear reflections on the Phase Two Grenfell Tower report\, and a compelling case study on the Moss Landing battery storage facility fire in California.  \nDelegates will benefit from dedicated Q&A time with speakers and over two hours of networking with peers\, senior leaders and sector influencers\, including sponsors Coopers Fire\, Fire Chief and Consort Insurance\, as well as exhibitors Lubrizol\, Red Plug and Rapidrop.  \nConference tickets are now on sale and sponsorship packages have been selling fast with workshop partner opportunities and exhibition stands remaining. SUMMARY:Blue Light Mental Health Symposium
DESCRIPTION:NFCC are honoured this year to be hosting our annual collaborative Blue Light Mental Health Symposium taking place on 14th January in Birmingham. \nBuilding on previous years we have an informed\, immersive programme lined up which will be released shortly.  The day will focus on three key areas: culture\, family support and suicide prevention and will be made up of a mixture of keynote speakers\, workshops and interactive sessions. \nA agenda is now available Blue Light Mental Health Symposium Agenda with some key programme highlights are listed below: \n\nCulture Panel sessions including cultural change journeys and experiences\nCreating cultural factors for wellbeing and resilience\nFamily support sessions including; Building family support looking at evidence based police research with the Open University\, engagement with families and challenges and The Fire Fighters Charity on family support.\nSuicide prevention – expert panel – Data-enabled change; what are recent trials and research telling us\, and how can we enact positive change as a result\nSuicide prevention and postvention break out sessions – Prevention; Organisational response and postvention; Individual and community impact\n\nThe night prior to the conference we will be hosting a networking event at the venue from 7pm-8pm.  All are welcome but please do select the option to attend below if you are attending as we will need to have a list of all attendees on the evening. \nThe conference ticket doesn’t include accommodation but there are many hotels very close by to suit all budgets. \nSuppliers to the sector \nWe will offering the opportunity for suppliers to the blue light community to promote their products and brand alongside the conference. DESCRIPTION:FIRE Conference returns with a focus on driving collaboration and cohesion \nThe annual FIRE Conference returns later this year on 24 October with a packed programme addressing key issues from across the sector. \nDeveloped and hosted by the Fire Protection Association\, Institution of Fire Engineers\, National Fire Chiefs Council and the Fire Sector Federation\, the one-day conference will provide key updates and foster discussion and debate through a format of plenary sessions and workshops. \nKey subject areas for this year’s instalment include why deregulation occurs and how we manage it\, enforcement updates\, emergency tactical response\, future-proofing fire risk assessors and a focus on the Luton car park fire. Plans are also in place for the British Standards Institution and the Royal Institute of British Architects to host plenary sessions during the day. \nOn the back of another successful event in 2023 which saw over 500 delegates in attendance\, FIRE Conference will continue its hybrid format\, hosted both in-person at the IET\, Savoy Place in London as well as online. \nWe are delighted to announce Redplug Group as the headline sponsor for this year’s event\, in addition to other sponsors and exhibitors including Sentura Group (Firechief)\, Coopers Fire\, Firefly\, Adexon and Distinction Door.
